Delicious Braised Duck at Hong Lim Food Centre

I had lunch with a group of friends at Hong Lim Food Centre after church service today. We decided to have braised duck rice from Ah Heng Duck Rice stall located at level 2.

As there were nine of us, we ordered a large plate (braised duck, braised pork, braised eggs & tau-gua) to share. The duck meat is one of the nicer ones which I have tasted. It is nicely flavoured and it is not hard nor dry.

The stall is not open for business on Wednesdays.

Less than a month to Christmas

It's less than a month to Christmas. It's the season of thanks-giving. I am both excited and anxious at the same time after trying to shop for presents for my loved ones and friends today. Shopping for presents is a mind-boggling activity which I am really lousy at.

One week to SCMS 2011

I am excited that it is only one week from the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2011. I have got ready all my gears (running tights, shoes, fuel-belt & shades) and the nutrients (powerbar gels). I even got my must-have hair-cut today.
